Creative Writing-Fantasy

Creative writing is fun! Especially when writing fantasy stories. I get to let my imagination run wild.

The popular trend lately is vampires, science fiction, and  fantasy.  I don't care to write about violence with all the gory details. I prefer to create romantic stories mixed with magic and mind travel.

I currently completed a book with  one of those ingredients. Dimensional travel.

The Magic Herb has also that ingredient while Even Exchange has magic!

To all the writers out there....keep on writing

Writing And Endings

As I have said before in my previous post writing is fun but then comes the ending.

How to write an ending that makes sense or is pleasing.  Since I use real life people when writing my characters sometimes the endings are not happy.

I had been e-mailed from some who didn't like my ending?  Well, life is real and depending on my mood I sometimes will stay fairly close to the real thing.

Then I had another person write me and tell me she didn't like the sex scenes in The Magic Herb. Well in real life people have  sex!     If it's called for I write it in.

So now with my third book The Mystery of Mill Brook.....Once again I a contemplating the ending.

A happy one or not?   Hmm,  I will let you know when I finish it.

Have a great day!

She Doesn't Like It!

She just doesn't like it!   I added my ebook The Magic Herb to the Goodreads site and I received thumbs down with an I don't like rating.

Now, The Magic Herb has some sexual scenes to the story and this woman did not like it.  I feel those scenes are appropriate to the story line and although I was a little surprised I guess some people may feel that way.

It is nowhere like Fifty shades of Gray, but I suppose some may be offended.

I just wanted to share this thought with you.
